On Saturday, November 18th, the 16 County Teachers of the Year were recognized in Portland at the annual Teacher of the Year Gala. In addition to being named as Aroostook County Teacher of the Year, Emily was also a semifinalist for the 2024 Maine Teacher of the Year.

Caribou Community School’s Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, November 20th, and Tuesday, November 21st. This two-day event is set aside for parents and guardians to discuss their child’s academic growth with this year’s teachers. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held in person at Caribou Community School. This year’s conferences will take place on the following dates and times: Monday, November 20th from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm Tuesday, November 21st from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm A letter was sent home with additional details of each grade level's conferences.

Caribou Community School will not be attending today's scheduled cross-country meet due to the current air quality advisory. CCS will have monitored practices as scheduled. Coaches will offer numerous water breaks and work on skills and drills that will allow for the growth of our student-athletes while keeping them safe! Cross Country practice until 4:00 at CCS. Soccer practices will be on as scheduled and again, monitored closely by coaches.

Back 2 School
CCS Fall Sports will begin on Monday, August 7th for Girls Soccer tryouts at CCS from 6:00-7:30, this will be the tryout time and practice time for the week. Boys Soccer will start on Wednesday, August 9th from 8:30-10:30 at the CHS Practice Field. Boys and Girls Cross Country will begin on Monday, August 14th from 3:00-4:30 at the Caribou High School Ski Building. All CCS Student athletes will need an updated Physical in order to participate in our school athletics program.
