Flu shot opportunities. The first will be on Thursday, October 13th. This will be a drive through clinic, sponsored by Cary Medical Center, at Caribou High School from 4-6pm. The second opportunity will be on November 2. Pines Health will be coming to both CHS and CCS to administer flu shots.

The annual Aroostook Saving and Loan Viking Run will be held at the Caribou High school track on Labor Day, Monday, September 5th at 9:00. Registration for the ten different children’s races begins at 8:00. Runners from age 2 through the 8th grade are encouraged to attend. Pre-k and kindergarten runners compete in a ¼-mile run (1 lap). The first, second, third, and four graders run a ½ mile (2 laps). The fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders run one mile. There will be trophies for the top 3 male and female finishers in each race. Ribbons and tee-shirts will be awarded to all the young athletes who are taking part.
