Brendan Blackstone, Caribou Regional Technology Center - Agriculture & Welding Programs
Brendan is a 9th generation potato farmer on his family farm. Reflecting his seriousness for farming, he has taken the agricultural science class and the welding and metal fabrication class throughout high school. Two of his major accomplishments this past year were completing courses to earn both his pesticide license through the agriculture program and AWS testing through the welding program, certifying him as a welder. Brendan plans continue his education at UMPI and take the agricultural science and ag business program in the hopes to better round and prepare him to one day carry the legacy of his family farm.
