Innovation Center Teacher (PreK-8)

The goal of this unique teaching position is to enrich our student's  learning experiences through innovative and experiential teaching methods that inspire students and enhance a lifelong learner attitude in their knowledge and creativity for future learning opportunities.

 The Innovation Teacher will work in a new state-of-the-art facility with many current resources to enhance a student’s learning.

 Using the Design Thinking Process, Project-Based Learning and Computer Sciences are the hallmark approaches of the Innovation Center.

 The Innovation Center Teacher will work independently and as a team member with the teaching faculty at Caribou Community School as well as community organizations to complement student learning.

 The current Innovation Center teaching schedule includes daily classes for grades 7 and 8 with open lab times for grades PreK-6.

 Teachers with knowledge of or demonstrable willingness to use the following are encouraged to apply:

  • carpentry

  • computer sciences

  • electronics

  • programs such as Tinkercad and Sketchup 

  • use of laser cutters, 

  • 3D printers, drones, and Virtual or Augmented Reality
