The Caribou
School Department is committed to the provision of a free and appropriate
public education for all of its students. Through the Pupil Evaluation Team
process students may qualify for special education services designed to meet
their individual needs.
Identified
students grades K through 12 can receive a variety of services from
certified special education teachers and support staff. In addition, related
services such as occupational, physical and speech therapy can be provided
if recommended by the PET.
The
Caribou School Department also provides regional programs, which allows
students from neighboring districts access to our behavioral and
vocational/technical offerings.
